Dear Friends and Supporters:For over forty years, the Elizabeth Mascia Child Care Center continues to provide safe, inclusive, accessible, community-based quality child care and early childhood education for our local families. As a friend of our wonderful Child Care Center, we sincerely thank you for your valuable support.
In these hard economic times, we are experiencing a significant decline in grants and governmental assistance. In fact, since 2006, we have seen a continuous decline of over 75% in foundation grants and other larger sources of funding. We have been forced to continue to raise tuition, and even in doing so, our tuition does not cover all the costs to maintain the quality of service that our local families and children so desperately need.
Quality child care is expensive and many of our children require scholarships to attend our child care center. This is where your donation gets to work and makes a difference. It allows us to serve our local families of all economic backgrounds by providing the inclusive, affordable child care which establishes a strong foundation for each child’s future.
We provide toddler care, pre-school, before and after school programs, summer camp and an inclusive program for developmentally delayed children.
