Parenting classes for teen mothers in collaboration with Sleepy Hollow High School

Opportunity for enrollment in Child Care Center when infant reaches appropriate age

The Infant Center is located in Sleepy Hollow, just a few minutes away from the Tarrytown home of the Elizabeth Mascia Child Care Center. Thirteen infants, ranging in age from eight weeks to eighteen months, are enrolled at the Infant Center. The Infant Center is open weekdays throughout the year from 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Enrolled infants attend the program two-to-five full days per week.

In cooperation with the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns, the Infant center cares for the babies of a limited number of teenage mothers, enabling the young women to remain in school and attend parenting classes at the end of the school day.

All Infants enrolled at the Infant Center are offered the opportunity to move on to the Elizabeth Mascia Child Care Center Toddler Program when they reach the appropriate age.
